Large American milling company to purchase JD Steel plant in Polo

Vice President of JD Steel, Scott Hamilton, announced Tuesday in an interview with Caldwell County News that their plant in Polo is under contract to be sold to a large American milling company. As he is not at liberty to reveal the buyer, Hamilton said that this is great news for the community of Polo and surrounding areas. Since 2009 after its employees were laid off, the company has maintained the facility and have operated their engineering department out of this location.
