Deane Elgin Anderson

Deane Elgin Anderson, age 80, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at his residence.

Deane was born the son of Edward M. and Mariam F. (McBee) Anderson on Feb. 2, 1937, in Braymer. He was a 1956 graduate of Braymer C-4 High School. He was united in marriage to Laundra Boyer on Sept. 2, 1956, in Braymer. She survives of the home.

Deane worked for the Braymer Coop as an LP truck driver for 23 years. He also drove a school bus for many years, as well as working as a dairy farmer. Deane loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Laundra Anderson of the home; one son, Jeffery Anderson (Carol) of Braymer; two daughters, Kimberly Silkwood and fiancé David Moore of Braymer and RoLonda Rae Fansher (Randy) of Braymer; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Marla Denise Taylor; and two great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home in Braymer on Tuesday, Nov. 28, from noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer.
