Jimmie "Jim" Robert Hudson
Jimmie “Jim” Robert Hudson Jimmie “Jim” Robert Hudson, 87, Kidder, MO., passed away on August 6, 2026, alongside his wife, Marlene, in a motor vehicle accident. Jim was born on January 22, 1939, in Parthenon, Arkansas, to John G. and Anna B. (Stevens) Hudson. He attended high school and then later earned his Associate of Arts degree in refrigeration engineering. Jim honorably and proudly served his country in the Navy from 1958-1971. Jim was self-employed for numerous years and also engaged in farming before retirement. Jim married his wife, Marlene Bottorff, in February of 2026 at the Kidder First Baptist Church. Jim was an active and devoted member, former board member and current trustee of the Kidder, MO., First Baptist Church, Kidder. He was also a member of the Kidder American Legion Post #140, and was wellknown in the Amish community of Kidder as he was a driver for many Amish neighbors. Preceding Jim in death were his parents; former wife-Linda; and siblings-Stella Christ, Don Hudson, Gene Hudson, Glenda Hudson, and Colleen Hudson. Survivors include his children-Debbie Wilder, Kansas City, KS; Jimmie (Mindy) Hudson, Chesapeake, VA; Dennis Hudson, Plattsburg, MO; John (Lori) Hudson, Jamesport, MO; and David (Michelle) Hudson, Kearney, MO; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and siblings-Lou Bonderer, Cameron, MO; Donna Hudson, Kansas City, MO; Libby Hudson, Grandview, MO; Barb (Dennis) Barton, Grandview; and Larry Dean (Brenda) Hudson, Newtown-Harris, MO; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Cremation and arrangements have been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO. Celebration of Life Service: 2 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Kidder First Baptist Church, Kidder. Formal Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church on August 29. Military honors will be provided by the Missouri Military Honors Team. Memorial donations may be made in Jim’s memory to the Kidder First Baptist Church or the Kidder American Legion Post #140 in care of Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
