Kenneth Leon Richardson, 75, of Kidder, MO., passed away on October 19, 2024.

Kenneth was born on December 6, 1948, in Kansas City, MO., to LD and Caroline (Thompson) Richardson.  He graduated from the JC Penney High School, Hamilton, in 1966.  

He worked in construction all of his life.  He was employed at Diamond Lumber Company, Tucker Construction Company in Maysville, MO., and Star Development Company in Liberty, MO.  He loved making wooden plaques with Bible verses on them and giving them away to friends and family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.

On June 9, 1984, he married Janet Franklin in Hamilton, MO.  They celebrated 40 years and she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include sister, Beverly (Rick) Adams, Hamilton, MO; brother, Dennis (Pat) Richardson, Hamilton; sons, Todd (Traci) Grooms, Trenton, MO; and Matthew (Chris) Grooms, Smithville, MO; daughter, Tracy (Kenny) Carman, Kidder; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service:  1 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2024, at The Lake Viking Church, Gallatin, MO.

Visitation:  Friday, October 25, 2024, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Kidder Cemetery, Kidder, MO. 

Memorial donations may be made to Three Rivers Hospice or to the family in care of Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Cremation and arrangements entrusted to the care of Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.
