Marlene Hemminger

Clara “Marlene” Hemminger, age 68, of Cameron, MO, passed away at her home in Cameron on Sept. 20, 2019. She lived in Cameron most of her life and lived in Colorado for a short time.

Marlene was born on Aug. 27, 1951, in Iowa, to Lester Dale and Leola (Lord) McLaughlin. She graduated from the Penney High School in Hamilton in 1969. She worked as a Certified Medical Technician at The Village in Cameron. Marlene loved to sew and owned M & D Sewing with her sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amanda Gene Hemminger; and four siblings.

On Sept. 23, 1987, she married Neil Hemminger in Kidder at the Christian Church. Neil survives of the home.

Additional survivors include her son, Donnie Eads of Cameron, four grandchildren; sister, Doreen Hacker of Winston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Memorials may be made in her memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals.
