Rosa “Rosie” May Snapp

Rosa “Rosie” May Snapp, age 85, of Cameron, MO, formerly of Hamilton, Richmond, and Independence, passed away on July 1, 2019, at Redwood of Cameron.

Rosie was born on May 4, 1934, in Arkansas. She married Jerry Snapp on Jan. 9, 1951, in Kansas City, KS. Rosie worked at Sears in Kansas City for 15 years, and she was also employed at Walmart in Richmond. While living in Hamilton, she was a very active volunteer at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home and at the Caldwell County food pantry. She attended the Hamilton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Banks; two sons, Dennis and Perry Snapp; her twin brother, Donald Ray Banks; and a sister, Betty.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; son, Jeff Snapp of Kidder; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Freida; and stepbrothers, Bobby and Larry.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Interment will be held at a later date at the Galt Cemetery in Galt. www.bramfuneralservices.com
