Stephen Franklin Pickering
Stephen Franklin Pickering, age 69, formerly of Hamilton, MO, passed away Aug. 24, 2015, in St. Louis, after a lengthy illness.
Stephen was born to Clifford and Louise (Dodge) Pickering on Sept. 30, 1945, in Ames, IA. His family moved to Hamilton in 1950 to a farm south of town, and he attended Hamilton schools. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Public Administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he lived and worked for a number of years following graduation.
Stephen is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Pickering and Jessica (Kristopher) Bahouth; granddaughter, Blair; one sister, Karen (Edward) Willette; one brother, David (Dorian) Pickering; one niece, Julia (Timothy) Ramey; two nephews, David Martin Pickering and Richard Taylor Pickering; two grand-nieces, Elizabeth (Tomas) Ramey and Sarah Ramey; his longtime friend and caregiver, Tom Obradevich; and many cousins.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Arrangements are pending.
